"My Dog is My Property"
This best-selling book really inspired me a lot. It was a real-life story of John Grogan together with his own family and his worst dog ever, Marley. Marley is such a mischievous, incorrigible dog of the family; he used to break their doors, eat their furniture and even dump at their visitors when they come. But despite of these, Marley had been such a wonderful, loyal, playful, exuberant, and lovely dog. He had a lot of happy memories together with the Grogans, though sometimes, he's one of the reasons of their annoyance and distraction. I got attached to this story because I have a dog too named Isko, he is such a cute, naughty, uncontrollable, genital sniffer dog who always makes us all smile through his loopy action and unconditional love for us. Isko really has the same temperament as Marley, in fact, he had just ripped off our tissue paper a while ago with his white sharp fiercely teeth. Of course, it was a mess, a mess that would make us ecstatic and make fun of him. Isko, like one of the hyperactive dogs who likes to rip things off, still gets tired. And yes, he also likes sleeping. Sleeping is one of the things Isko does whenever he gets bored or nothing to play with. He likes sleeping so much that he even snores so loud, and when he gets up, he has big round eye dust each from the corner of his eyes. There was a part in the story that the couple decided to let Marley be neutered because of too much arouse and having sexed with their leg and some of their visitors. There was also the time when my parents decided to lose the masculinity of Isko by having him neutered. But Isko should be thankful it didn't happen. Neutered would cost us a lot of money and we cannot afford it easily, though it will benefit Isko especially to us because his lust for sex will be over. Poor Isko, just as innocent dog as he is, should be thankful my parents didn't continue ending his masculinity. Well for me, it's normal for dogs especially male dogs to get into this stage finding a mate and let do-what-you-get thing popped out in their minds, but hopefully someday, they might stop the urge of taking it as an advantage as they grow up and reached the stage of maturity. Their are a lot of things I like from Isko: He likes to chase cats, dogs, insects, rolling objects and as well as US.. well yeah, sounds annoyance but it's true, I like it when he does that, sounds sarcastic right? I know.. I know.. please pardon me.. Oh well, here is the funny thing when Isko chases me, whenever he chases me, he's like a cheetah, yes probably a cheetah cause he really runs so fast and I couldn't run without sliding, stumbling, or outbalancing myself, then it turned out I'm already limping. Yeah, sometimes it's fun to tease and play with dogs but be careful, it's sorta kind of dangerous thing to do. Poop. Oh yes poop, I'm really having a hard time to get Isko's poops out, I usually ask guidance or help from my mom to get the poop of Isko. I could even say "This is the ever worst time of my entire life!!". Isko usually sleeps with us at night, but he's always sleeping beside my mom's mattress. He feels like he's also a human that's why I always call him "feeler" , and apparently, Isko's really a feeler, he thinks that he is the dominant among the members of the family. There are also times when Isko, looks at the mirror to see his face, then I was like hiding behind the door of our bedroom, crazily hiding from him watching as he look at his face at the mirror just in front of our stairs, I always hear him whimpering and whining desperately like he's resenting himself from being just a dog and not like us. There are a lot of things and funny moments I had with Isko, but of course, I can't write all of it here. Thanks for reading my precious and lovable moments with my dog, I hope I made you laugh of these. But just another tip for you: Always treat and love your dog like one of the members your family because in return, that dingo will soon return the favor you have given to him/her.
